Make Selling A Sure Thing:  Besides pricing your home correctly in today's market , staging is another extremely important step and can make the difference in selling your home or hsving it sit on the market.  Gone are the days of a hot sellers market where anything seemed to go once it was placed on the market. While most sellers today are more educated and seem to know what to do, other sellers may need some assistance in preparing and staging their home for sale. Interior designers, professional stagers and even your real estate agent can help make the home stand out.  However, sometimes it may be better said by someone not directly involved with the selling of the home.

Buyers are more educated also.  With the wealth of information at their disposal via the internet, TV and magazines buyers are more picky than ever when it comes time to buy a home. In short, Sellers need to look at their home as buyers would and prepare their home for market accordingly. No matter how nice your home may be or how it looks to you, every home has a weakness that buyers will always find. It could be something as little as scuff marks on the walls to cracked tile in the foyer.  No matter how small or how major buyers seem to always see it and it could affect  what they may offer you for the home should they decide to  buy it.

In short, you need to look at your home as a buyer would when you decide to sell and prepare your home accordingly.  You've got to literally knock their socks off, impress them and get them excited with a neat, clean and decluttered home.  Don't forget to keep the yard and landsaping up. First impressions are lasting impressions when a buyer arrives at the curbside in front of your home.
